There is now a Donations button on the top menu bar. It tracks donations in an annual drive with a goal of $420.

Anything donated to HoC Gaming is used expressly for operating costs and upgrades.

To those that have helped fund your guild, thank you. It has been greatly appreciated.

We have rolled into HoC Gaming's fiscal year 2010 lol. As last year, any help in paying for our services over the next twelve months would be greatly appreciated. As usual I do not expect any help that is not freely given, but any dent in the $420 per year all our services cost is one less thing I have to worry about. The donations button/page are fully functional, and a huge thank you to those that contributed last year.

Hey Kato can you setup a monthly subscription through paypal?

Mordus, yes monthly subs are possible but paypal makes it difficult to set up a recurring donation/subscription button that has a field for the user to enter how much they want to donate monthly. Those widgets/buttons need to be custom coded, and I'm not that talented. =)

However, if you are interested in setting up a subscription just send me a PM with the amount you would want it to be for and I can send you a link for that specific amount.

That said, I can post a sub button that has predetermined subscription values but I'm not sure what appropriate amounts would be. Anyone have any suggestions/ideas?

maybe go by $5 increments up to $20 or $25 then go up in $10 increments. just a thought

Ok I have done pretty substantial revisions to the Donations tab on the menu bar. In addition to cleaning up the information on the page there is now also a $5 recurring donation button that will take you straight to paypal. If anyone is interested in donating monthly, at a different amount, get in touch with me privately and we can set it up.

I'd also like to add that hocgaming is looking at a major major (and final) forums improvement, possibly in 2010 if we can afford it, which is a move to vBulletin. It doesn't come cheap, its $195 just for the forum license, or $285 for the full meal deal including community management front end. But it's the big leagues and sooner or later is going to be the future of this website.

Again a big thanks to those of you that financially supported hocgaming in 2009, and to those of you that are planning to do so in 2010.
